Moringa seed powder can be used as a quick and simple method for cleaning dirty water. Studies show that this simple method of filtering not only diminishes water pollution, but also harmful bacteria. The moringa powder joins with solids in the water and sinks to the bottom. This treatment also removes 90-99% of bacteria contained in water.
Water can also be purified at a low cost by the use of Chlorine which is highly electronegative and very active in the killing of microorganisms. These notwithstanding, some organisms have spores which might prevent them from intoxication by chlorine, in this case, Boiling is required which is not so effective but to a reasonable extent.
